Dropped in for lunch and ordered: 1. Laksa with cockles 2. Fried carrot cake 3. Teh Tarik (hot) Laksa was absolutely delicious and has that authentic Singapore flavour! The fried carrot cake was also very yummy. Crispy on the outside, salty and sweet with a soft moist inside! Teh Tarik was alright and nothing special (after having tasted really good stuff it’s good but not amazing?) Would recommend the above mentioned dishes :)

Located at a cross junction of Como, this simple looking restaurant provides really good hearty Singapore food such as Hokkien prawn noodles, Singapore fried carrot cake (radish cake, black and white), Laksa and my personal favorite which is difficult to find in Perth - the cockles CKT (fried kway tiao). The friendly service is very welcoming. Another good place of choice if you are craving for some Singapore/Malaysia food.

Hidden behind the modest signage is a delightful and authentic Southeast Asian hawker food eatery. The atmosphere was pleasant, and there was a great selection of food. We ordered the Cockles Char Kway Teow, and it did not disappoint. You can smell the "wok hei" even before taking a bite. The correct thick sweet soy sauce was used to fry the dish perfectly! We also had the Nasi Lemak, which, again, did not disappoint. The peanuts were freshly roasted, and the mouth-watering chili and fragrant coconut rice will keep you coming back for more! One of the staff, Peter (from Ipoh), came over to offer us their Satay and Achar to try. We had a nice chat, and his friendliness was refreshing. We enjoyed the flavors and will definitely be returning for more. It's definitely a must-try!

Our favourite spot for really affordable Singaporean style breakfast. They've really improved the space from what it used to be, much brighter inside and greenery. The food is A+ Highly highly highly recommend the black radish cakes (trust me, try it) Nasi lemak and laksa is also tasty and for the price I couldn't fault it. When it first came out we thought it looked a bit small but we were absolutely stuffed by the end. The laksa had rice noodles which is authentic to the Singaporean style we love. Loads of toppings and tasty broth. Great for a after gym breakfast in winter! The Kaya toast set is a simple and easy way to get in that Singaporean flavour. We got the set and radish cakes for $29 We also had Milo dinosaurs as our treat not as sweet as we've had in some places which was a welcome change. I don't know how but their coffee tastes like Asian style chain coffee? Don't expect Aussie style coffee. It's still delicious and true to their style. We've been back a few times now. Service is a little clunky but not terrible. I only wish they would get a better speaker system to create a little more ambience. Highly recommend you try out. If for nothing else but the Singaporean food! Truly they could just sell that and they'd make a killing!

Well located off canning highway, with its own parking available. It gets crowded pretty fast and the food is nice. Prawn noodles is definitely worth trying. Braised pork rice and nasi lemak are decent. Teh tarik is the instant kind one though.

Relatively new addition to the area. The cafe has a small menu offering western and Asian breakfast and lunch options. Taste is on point and portions are reasonable. There's even dessert on offer. Will recommend a visit!

The cafe has been recently taken over & refurbished. New owner Sharon takes pride in offering beautiful freshly made food daily. Tried the Fried Radish Cake & Chicken Rice & it took me back to Singapore. The home made chili was so spicy & legit it made my nose water. Banana cake & Long Mac was very nice too! Service was very friendly & swift and pricing is on par in Como. Quite a spacious venue so it is good if you want to come in for a group catch up. Will be back soon to try the rest of the menu. Hopefully, they’ll be able to offer Asian style coffee & tea soon
